Kids Club had an amazing 3 days of fun on the Inset Days. On the Thursday and Friday we took advantage of the hot weather and enjoyed lots of water play. We had a paddling pool, water guns, hose pipe and anything that children could find to carry water. Children made sure the staff didn’t miss out on the fun and also got extremely wet.
One of the fabulous things about the Inset days is that children are able to undertake big projects. The Thursday and Friday children were able to create a castle from junk modelling. Lots of paint, glitter and glue was involved. It was that big that two children were able to sit inside it.
Children were able to take advantage of the open space and explore their surroundings. Games of hide and seek and den building were favourites of the children.
These three inset days are our warm up before the magical 3 weeks of the Holiday Club. Staff are already working hard at planning and preparing for lots of fun activities.
